| What do a Black Hawk Utility Helicopter, Tommy Alverson and fireworks have in common? They make up the ingredients for the Family on the 4th Musical Celebration and Fireworks to be held Sunday, July 4, 2010 in Comanche, Texas.
Billed as the largest fireworks show in Central Texas, the Kiwanis Club of Comanche presents the longest, loudest and most spectacular fireworks show choreographed to patriotic music. While the fireworks are the draw for the 15,000-18,000 in attendance, the pre-show musical celebration is just added enjoyment. Beginning at 6:30pm on Sunday, visitors can dine on hot dogs, watermelon and soda. Free fans are handed out by the Kiwanis Club of Comanche's Bucket Brigade. The featured artist for this year's free concert are award-winning singer/ songwriter Amos Staggs and Texas Music Artist Tommy Alverson. Stadium seating is available.
Also making an appearance at the Family on the 4th event is a Black Hawk Utility Helicopter out of Fort Hood. The Black Hawk is scheduled to land and be on display from 6:30-7:30pm.
